Dmitri Berzon
Born in Russia and trained in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins (London), Dmitri works across time-based media, photography and interactive installations. His practice explores memory, landscape and connection, often combining electronic and piano compositions with visual storytelling. Projects range from Artists in the Forest (2003) to contributions at Lunchmeat (2014) and Signal (2023). At Ateliér Libušín he supports residents with digital projection, mapping and immersive environments.
Frances Sander
Scottish artist with a postgraduate scholarship in Drawing & Painting (Edinburgh College of Art). Frances is known for figurative painting, printmaking and real-time digital drawing (Tagtool). Highlights include Illuminating York (2009) and Echofluxx 13 (2013). Based in the Czech Republic for 20+ years, she mentors residents in adaptive, responsive image-making for stage and site.
Together, Dmitri and Frances run Ateliér Libušín as an artist-led platform for cross-cultural exchange in Libušín, near Prague.
